Griessmuehle
Within eight years the area around Sonnenallee 221 in Berlin-Neukölln had developed into a versatile hotspot for subculture. The program included weekly cinema evenings, art exhibitions, performances, workshops, markets, and a diverse music program consisting of concerts and club nights. The musical program touched on all of Berlin's favorite sounds — house, techno, disco and even a bit of UK bass. Since 2012 it has also been the home of the widely loved gay party ‘Cocktail D'Amore’, which was held on every first weekend of the month and has rightfully earned its place as one of Berlin's top alternative LGBT parties. With the opening of the CC Neukölln canteen and the Latitude Record Store, a further step for cultural development was taken.
Revier Südost
After the loss of the Griessmuehle Location in the end of January 2020 and some months in exile venues, the ZMF Event GmbH was able to find a new location. Since September the new home with the name „Revier Südost“ is based at bärenquell in the district Niederschöneweide. The space started with a beer garden and an open-air dance floor. The musical direction ties in with the previous club and is still a colorful and diverse mix. The beer garden is used for a lot of different cultural happenings, such as theater- and cabaret shows, exhibitions and performances. For the time after Corona the place will be enlarged with an indoor club room and an art hall.
Our highest aim is to create an inclusive space for everyone. The Culture should not be a luxury but made accessible to as many people as possible. That is why our program is based on the highest possible variety and reasonable prices, even in times of Corona.
